“At long last, attention is being paid to how environmental hazards disproportionately affect communities of color and working-class families. AAH has been at the forefront of the Environmental Justice movement. I look forward to continuing this journey with you to ensure that everyone, no matter where they live or work, can breathe clean air. I am committed to working upstream to solve public health problems and to eliminating the conditions that cause health injustice in our communities, because all people – no matter where we live or who we are – have the right to good health.”
